So a little while back I was out looking at properties and came across this very cool looking 70 series landcruiser camper. The woman driving it is on her way south, she shipped it over from Europe and drove down this far from Canada. Seeing it really got the wanderlust boiling up in my blood. From my experience, this setup is too tall to be ideal for Central America, and the overhang seems like it would block too much view, but still a nice rig and apparently very capable- based on her comments and the fact that she has made it to Costa Rica, at least.
On a totally seperate note (but I'm too lazy to start another post), Caly has finally started to learn that other dogs are a lot of fun to play with. There have always been a few with whom she was comfortable, but since she was always the smallest on our street, it usually got more rough and tumble than she liked. Now she roughs up the Husky that lives in the office next to ours. He's a lot bigger, but also 10 years old and suffers greatly from the heat, so she usually manages to wear him out. Just in case anyone out there cares about Caly's play habits.
