Swim for the Reef

We consider ourselves environmentalists. Really. We take it pretty seriously most of the time. This guy, on the other hand, is taking it really seriously. 61 years old and he's going to swim 35 miles through jellyfish infested waters to help draw awareness to the plight of the worlds reefs and oceans.
So go check out the site and spend a little time thinking of ways that you can help, even if it is just a little bit. Every little bit helps.

Hey,
That's my dad! Seriously, thanks for helping get the word out. It will be one week from tomorrow that we jump off the island of Cozumel and dad heads for Cancun. He's in great shape and taking care to be more than ready for the 35 or so miles. We, the family and crew, on the other hand, are getting more and more amped up, gathering gear and intellingence and generally prepping ourselves for a tough trip. But, we are confident and with good people behind us, dad and all of us will be successful. Then we can really say that we have DONE something for the world and take the message out to there. Take care of yourselves on your adventures, and take care of the world around you. Thanks! Maybe I will catch you in Costa Rica some day...
