Old graveyard. We were amazed that millions of dollars of real estate are vacant on account of... previous occupants.

Soho fireplug (maybe Noho, I don't knowho, but somewhere around there)

Cute little Italian joint across the street from the cute little Italian joint where we tucked in to escape the snow flurries in Grenwich Village

"Our" little Italian joint. Good beer. Not freezing (the real attraction)

The Blue Note. On the list of things to do for our next visit.

Most absurd thing I've seen all month award goes to the fat cop on the Segue scooter. C'mon, Guys! You don't expect me to walk around the mall in these four thousand dollar pants!

Elegant staircase in Washington DC's Union Station (great escape route if you are fleeing the guy on the scooter)

Union Station statues. While not as famous as New York's Central Terminal, Steve liked Union Station just about as much.

Copper bar at brewhouse across from Union Station. Micro breweries are wonderful, Steve pines for them

I'll bet this woman isn't enjoying the beautiful cherry blossoms behind her 4runner

Cherry Trees!

I think our last DC trip report has a photo much like this one, but with fall colors. Maybe.

DC is an awfully pretty place for a big city. Waterways and trees mingle with impressive monuments and museums.

Union Station, DC.

Met up with Greg and his wife Amy for dinner before heading off to Annapolis, where Steve finally put down the camera and never really managed to pick it back up
